The City of Sioux City is seeking a reliable and motivated Labor Crew Leader to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals who excel in hands-on leadership roles and value teamwork, accountability, and public service. Key Responsibilities. Assign, supervise, and participate in the daily work of a labor crew. Maintain accurate records of time, materials used, and tasks completed. Demonstrate effective leadership and communication skills. Perform physically demanding work in various weather conditions. Requirements. Must be in good physical condition to meet job demands. Possess or obtain a Class A CDL with tanker endorsement within six months of hire. Available to work first shift: Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM - Willing to work overtime during snow and ice control operations.
