Safety Coordinator – Construction / IndustrialÂLouisville-based with 50% travelLouisville, KY | ~ $70K–$80K base + bonus + travel incentivesFull-time | M–F, flexible hours | up ~ 50% travelA growing industry leader specializing in field services and engineering for rotating machinery is seeking a Safety Coordinator to lead safety efforts across multiple regional field offices. This role is ideal for someone passionate about safety who leads by example and values integrity, training, and field engagement.Key Responsibilities:Oversee and implement OSHA 1926 & MSHA 48B safety programsDeliver new hire and refresher training (OSHA/MSHA)Ensure compliance with 3rd-party training platforms (ISNet, Avetta, Gatefeed, TappiSafe)Support job quoting with safety input and planningConduct site audits and injury investigationsProvide in-house training (e.g. First Aid, Rigging)Lead and coach a behavior-based safety cultureTravel ~50% to support other U.S. sitesRequirements:5+ years of safety leadership in construction or industrial settingsOSHA 1926 and/or MSHA 48B credentials (or ability to obtain)Experience managing 3rd-party compliance platformsStrong communication, leadership, and field engagement skillsWelding or rotating equipment experience is a plusMust align with core values: Integrity, Safety, Quality, Learning, RelationshipsCompensation & Perks:$70K–$80K base salary upon direct hireCombat Pay: $100–$200/day for travel (post-direct hire)Quarterly Bonus: 2–5%While on contract:~ +/- $33.65–$38.46/hr$100/day retroactive combat payAll travel expenses & per diem coveredAdditional Info:Location: Onsite – Louisville, KY (40243)Schedule: M–F, 8–5 (flexible start/end times)Travel: ~50% to key sites in TX, IA, AL, UT, SCDirect Reports: Manages 3 Safety CoordinatorsInterview Process: Phone > In-Person > Site Tour & Panel InterviewsInterested or want to learn more?
