Location: North Sioux City, SD

Reports to: Vice President of Operations

Job Description: An Operations Coordinator at Sterling is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of daily operations. This role involves coordinating various tasks and projects, liaising with various departments, and optimizing processes to enhance productivity. The Operations Coordinator will work closely with other departments to support the overall business objectives and ensure seamless delivery of products and services.

Required Technical Skills: The Operations Coordinator should be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Experience with Salesforce is preferred. General computer proficiency is required. He or she should have strong communication, organization and time management skills.

Required Education/Experience: The Operations Coordinator should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in operations or related role. An associate degree in Operations Management or similar business-related field is required.

Responsibilities

  • Manages operational tasks under the direction of the Vice President of Operations.
  • Coordinates with stake holders to ensure that tasks are completed on time, to meet stakeholders and customer needs.
  • Identify and address operational problems and inefficiencies, report these to the management team and suggest solutions.
  • Identifies ways to increase revenue, decrease expenses, and improve efficiency.
  • Contributes to the development of operations procedures to support the company's objectives.
  • Contributes to reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as an operations coordinator or in a similar role.
  • Learns quickly and has strong problem-solving skills and business acumen.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with business software applications such as Microsoft Office and Salesforce.com.
  • Proactive and able to work independently while also being part of a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure, adapt well to change, and meet tight deadlines.
