GELITA USA is seeking a qualified individual to fill the position of Automations Engineer. This position will primarily work with operations, engineering, & maintenance to find solutions to automation and process problems. This position also works on capital projects and process improvement projects for GELITA USA. In addition to typical engineering functions, the job requires the ability to work well with all levels of personnel. This position will report to the Manager, Automations.

GELITA USA is seeking a qualified individual to fill the position of Automations Engineer. This position will primarily work with operations, engineering, & maintenance to find solutions to automation and process problems. This position also works on capital projects and process improvement projects for GELITA USA. In addition to typical engineering functions, the job requires the ability to work well with all levels of personnel. This position will report to the Manager, Automations.
Some of the Qualifications:
- The preferred candidate will have at least two years of industrial controls, electrical and instrumentation (E&I) experience, within Food & Beverage, chemical, or Pharmaceutical manufacturing. However, recent engineering grads with strong internship experience in controls engineering will be considered.
- Bachelor's (preferred) or Associate Degree in Engineering or related field
- Allen Bradley (Studio 5000) and FactoryTalk programming experience
- Communicate with team and self-manages assigned tasks and projects
- Provide support to operations with automation solutions to process problems
- Control system development, support, and management (PLC, HMI, Servers, Networks, Data Historian)
- Program, configure, test, and commission PLC and HMI based control system projects
- Perform project deliverables independently while adhering to scope, schedule, and budget constraints
- Program, configure, test, and commission PLC and HMI based control systems
- Coordinate and participate in factory acceptance testing
- Participate in Root Cause Analysis exercises and execute on associated action items
- Participate in the rotating on-call system to provide 24/7/365 coverage for the sites
- Must be able to travel up to 10% of the time
