We have been making quality beverages for the Midwest since 1872 and supplying them from 14 distribution centers across Iowa, Nebraska, and South Dakota.Position Summary: To start up, operate, and shut down the equipment on the can line. Work as a backup on the bottle line as needed.Duties/Responsibilities:* Must be able to learn and operate all machinery on the can line and bottle line* Watch operation of palletizers* Operate the can line filler/seamer safely and efficiently.* Operate the Hicone, tray maker and the multi-packer effectively and efficiently* Keep multipacker running* Change over products* Watch for crushed and down bottles* Keep floor area clean and picked up* Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assignedQualificationsEducation/Experience:* High-School Diploma/GED* No experience necessary - on the job training is performedRequired Skills/Abilities:* Communication Skills* Dexterity Skills* Problem Solving Skills* Must be able to read, speak, and write in English to be able to communicate with supervisor and co-workers and to operate equipment.Work Environment: Works in a warehouse. Ear protection is required in production areas. Eye protection required while on forklift. Must wear hair/beard net in designated areas. May work extended hours or days to complete production.Physical Requirements:* Visual and auditory abilities required to do the job* Frequent standing, walking, reaching, and handling product* Ability to lift/carry <50 lbs.* Ability to push/pull <50 lbs.Job Status: Full TimeWork Schedule: Monday-Friday; occasional Saturdays. 4pm-shift completionEOEPay: $19.57 per hour
