CT / X-Ray Technologist

Full-Time, Onsite

Ottumwa, IA

Responsibilities:

• Prepares patients for radiographic procedures (X -Ray or CT) by accurately assessing patients' needs and providing patient education and proper positioning according to the department procedure manual.
• Practices safety measures in radiography including protecting patients from excessive radiation during examinations.
• Documents pregnancy status.
• Confirms patient identification by two patient identifiers.
• Checks for proper orders, lab results, signed informed consents, and patient preps for all radiology procedures.

Requirements:

• Graduate of a school of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT registered or registry eligible with a current Iowa Permit to Practice.
• BLS required upon hire
