Apply now and join our team!The Material Handler will be responsible for operating and maintaining processing equipment, ensuring safety and quality standards are met, and supporting continuous production in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, computer literate, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision. This position offers hands-on experience in a cutting-edge facility and the opportunity to contribute to sustainable food innovation.What you will do: Operate, monitor, adjust, and maintain material handling and grinding equipment to ensure efficient production.Lead by example in safety practices, actively participating in initiatives and promoting a zero-injury culture.Ensure compliance with safety, quality, regulatory, and GMP standards across all plant operations.Manage raw material logistics including railcar positioning, unloading, grinding, and truck interactions.Perform lab sampling, testing, and data analysis to support quality control and process improvements.Apply mechanical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues and perform tasks independently.Utilize Microsoft Office and process control systems to maintain accurate records and support SOP implementationWhat you will bring:Strong time management and organizational skills.Ability to build consensus and foster positive relationships.Ability to communicate across functional lines and at all levels.Ability to learn and apply Ingredion's Safety, Environmental, GMP, and Quality standards.Who you are:High school diploma or equivalent with strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a continuous operation facility, including physically demanding tasks and working at heights or in confined spaces.Mechanical aptitude with basic knowledge of hand tools, computer literacy, and solid math skills.Strong communication, decision-making, and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.Previous manufacturing or material handling experience preferred, with flexibility to train in other roles and maintain regular, prompt attendance.Why Join Ingredion?
