Posting Join the Mercy. One Family! We are looking to hire a Patient Access Representative!! As a Patient Access Representative at Mercy. One, you will greet patients/family members and registers and/or verifies patient demographics, including financial and insurance information, including the entry of patient/guarantor information, obtaining patient signatures on all appropriate forms and the imaging/copying of registration documents. Obtains and processes signed physician orders, conducts online insurance eligibility/benefit verification on designated accounts, notifies patient/guarantor of copays and or payments for requested services, and refers appropriate cases to financial counseling for follow-up and consultation. May provide escort and directional support to patients, family members and visitors. Schedule: PRN as needed. General Requirements: Data entry skills (50-60 keystrokes per minutes).
