The City of Sioux City / Sioux Gateway Airport is looking for an energetic, flexible, and dependable person to join the Airport Team as an Airport Operations Officer. This position disseminates information pertaining to airfield conditions via the NOT - Am system; coordinates closely with FAA ATC during ongoing activities that affect the normal operations of the airport; performs FAA Part 139 Airport Self-Inspections and Discrepancy Reporting; performs TSA TSR 1540 and 1542 required inspections. This position monitors and enforces airport rules and regulations including those relating to ramp safety and operates various communication systems and airport operational data provider systems. The employee also assists in maintaining cleanliness of the airport terminal and light maintenance including snow removal around the airport terminal when necessary.
