Description:

We are currently hiring a dependable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to support warehouse operations during overnight shifts. This role involves operating a sit-down forklift to move materials safely and efficiently, as well as assisting with general warehouse duties such as loading, unloading, and inventory handling. The ideal candidate will be experienced in forklift operation, able to navigate tight spaces, and committed to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a sit-down forklift to transport materials within the warehouse.
• Load and unload trucks, stack and store materials in designated areas.
• Assist with order picking, packing, labeling, and general shipping tasks.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse areas.
• Follow all safety protocols including proper use of PPE and handling of hazardous materials.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accurate documentation of materials.
• Conduct regular forklift maintenance checks and report any equipment issues.
• Adhere to company attendance policies and arrive promptly for scheduled shifts.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned to support warehouse operations.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a sit-down forklift operator in a warehouse or industrial environment.
• Ability to work in narrow aisles and confined warehouse spaces.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 80 lbs and standing for extended periods.
• Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to follow instructions.
• Must be able to pass a drug/alcohol screening and a 50-state background check.
• Willingness to work rotating 12-hour overnight shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.
