2nd Shift Assembler

Production Williamsburg, Iowa Direct Hire Dec 7, 2021 Kinze is currently seeking an Assembler to join our 2nd Shift manufacturing team in Williamsburg, IA. This position supports the production process by helping to complete the assembly of finished product using sub-assemblies, weldments, parts, and fasteners to engineering specifications and drawings.

**Position Duties**:

* Work safely and effectively in a Lean Manufacturing environment

* Assemble products

* Perform necessary measurements

* Inspect product per inspection guidelines

* Load and unload components from paint line

* Ensure assembled products meet all requirements

* Pack products into designated kits according to specification

* Identify opportunities to improve Safety, Quality, Cost and Delivery

* Maintain proper 5S, housekeeping and safety standards

* Responsible for your safety and safety of others

* Must be willing to be flexible and assist other departments when necessary

* Comply with company core values, policies, and legal guidelines

**Position Requirements**:

* Must be safety and quality oriented

* Prior experience in a manufacturing setting preferred

* Must work well in a team environment

* Ability to read and comprehend blueprints preferred

* Strong attention to detail

* Knowledge of and ability to use hand tools

* Ability to operate basic equipment

* Ability to compute basic mathematics

* Ability to read, comprehend, follow and apply work instructions and procedures

* Ability to identify and resolve problems

* Ability to help develop accurate and comprehensive work instructions in conjunction with a Document Writer
