Camp High Hopes is a non-profit organization that provides fun, safe, and adaptive recreational experiences for children, teens, and adults with disabilities, special needs, and chronic illnesses. Our mission is to promote inclusion and empowerment through recreational activities and programs that foster positive personal growth.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

This is a temporary on-site role for a Summer Camp Counselor at Camp High Hopes located in Sioux City, IA. The Summer Camp Counselor will be responsible for creating and leading activities, supervising campers, ensuring camper safety, monitoring and administering medications, and providing a fun and positive environment for campers.

Other Lead positions are available that have a specific focus (i.e. Lifeguard, Arts & Crafts, Archery & Recreational Games). Your interest in one of these roles can be shared within the application.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Be at least 16 years old
• Have a valid driver's license
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Offer contingent on background check
