**While you may know Staples as the worlds leading office supply company, Staples Promotional Products a division of Staples is a national leader in the promotional products and apparel industry and manufacturer and supplier of customer identified caps, garments, and advertising specialty items.**

**What you will be doing:**

* Your shift hours will be Monday-Friday 6am-3:30pm working in a temperature controlled building/environment.

* Scan or enter all packages in shipping systems to receive shipping labels or documents.

**Primary Responsibilities:**

* Organizes, identifies and stack merchandise for shipment according to standard company procedures.

* Weigh and measure packages and scan bar codes from pick slips and cartons. Enters data into shipping system to print shipping labels and prepares package for shipment.

* Load shipping trailers.

* Assists in other areas as needed during periods of slow work volume.

* All orders are required to ship to customers within 24 hours of receipt

* Ships a minimum of 100 packages per hours with no more than 2 errors per month

**Qualifications :**

**Qualifications**

**Basic:**

* High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

* Previous related work experience preferred

* Ability to understand and follow written or verbal instructions

* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. 50% of the time

* Ability to walk and stand 100% of the time

* Ability to attend to detail to ensure items are packed and shipped accurately

* Basic data entry/computer skills
