**What we are looking for**

The following description reflects the primary duties considered necessary to describe the principal functions of the job identified and shall not be construed as a detailed description of all the work requirements that may be inherent in the job. Monitor, maintain, update, investigate, and analyze inventory records, perform inventory related projects, and provide information to management that will assist them in making decisions concerning inventory balances, inventory control processes, and process improvements related to inventory. Perform cycle counts to validate and improve inventory accuracy and control.

**What you will be doing**

* Perform daily, weekly and/or monthly updates of the inventory system to reflect inventory moves, usages, miscellaneous shipments, error corrections, etc.

* Perform cycle counts of all assigned areas and selected inventory items on a regular basis. Compare actual counts to perpetual inventory records. Make system entries or corrections as required to correct inventory records. Document and issue results of those cycle counts.

* Work with personnel from Manufacturing, Receiving, Accounts Payable, Scheduling and/or Accounting as necessary to investigate and determine the root cause of inventory errors.

* Work directly with personnel whose actions or inaction results in inventory errors. Provide direction to those personnel on how to correctly record, report, or account for the affected inventory items.

* Follow up with appropriate Accounting and/or Manufacturing management personnel regarding persistent or recurrent inventory problems.

* Regularly track and report inventory accuracies.

* Propose methods of increasing the accuracy of inventory accounting by reviewing current inventory methods, controls, and procedures and performing special analysis.

* Actively participate in the annual physical inventory by being a knowledgeable resource, delivering inventory training in assigned areas, provide direction to inventory counters and auditors, and by assisting with questions, problems or other issues that arise during the annual physical inventory process.

* Facilitate the annual physical inventory process by working with Accounting and Manufacturing personnel to develop and plan physical inventory processes. Work with Accounting and Manufacturing personnel to analyze inventory results and investigate and explain inventory discrepancies.

* Work closely with Cost Accounting personnel to improve inventory control processes and implement improvement projects.

* Perform basic consumption estimates.

* Review and recommend changes to bills of materials based on analysis of data obtained in the course of job performance.

* Make presentations as required to facilitate change/improvement in processes within the scope of job.

**Qualifications we are looking for**

* Able to read and write legibly.

* Good basic math skills.

* Good understanding of the inventory and email systems.

* Good knowledge of Ceco products, raw materials, and material flows.

* Able to work on own initiative without immediate supervision.

* Able to easily communicate with and influence people.

* Good communication skills (written and verbal - including presentation)

* Good analytical and problem solving skills.

* Ability to walk and stand for most of the work shift (80%).

* Minimal travel may be required.

* Able to work overtime as required.

* GED or High School diploma required

* Microsoft Excel experience preferred

* Two (2) to Four (4) years manufacturing experience preferred
